Our Story
Pizza runs in the family.
Pizza Dose is the work of James (Settada) Suesakun — a well-known face around Whangamata with a serious passion for proper wood-fired pizza.
James's mum Nok and stepdad Paul once owned a wood-fired pizzeria in Thailand, where Paul fell in love with the artisan craft and began teaching James in 2020. Two years of training and a Pizza Master Class with Maestro Vito Iacopelli later, James is banging out high-quality pizzas from a custom wood-fired truck.
Every base is made from Paul's organic sourdough starter and slow-fermented for three days — light and easy to digest. The tomatoes and cheese come from Italy, the cured meats from Italy and Spain. Quality you can taste.
